TBA President cuts the rug with Mom, Annette Halprin
2010 Tidewater Builders Association President Bill Halprin of S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. showed that he actually CAN dance at the annual Builders Ball and Installation of Officers at the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Friday night.
In a sponsor video, S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. president Miles Leon joked that Halprin not only can’t dance, but is also challenged at golf. This, in addition to numerous accolades bestowed on the new president, who oversees 18,000 multifamily housing units at S.L. Nusbaum.
Now all eyes will be on Bill’s golf game next year.
Bill Nusbaum offers an inspired invocation
More than 300 guests were on hand as Halprin incorporated the theme of “Somewhere over the rainbow” into his address about about the common goals of residential development and multifamily development in creating a space called “home.” as in “there’s no place like home.”
The evening got started with an eloquent invocation by William L. Nusbaum of Williams Mullen, also a partner in S.L. Nusbaum, which his great-grandfather, Sidney Leon Nusbaum, founded in 1906.
Nusbaum later discovered that he is also part of TBA history – his father, Robert, also of Williams Mullen, was the attorney who notarized TBA’s Certificate of Incorporation in 1953.
