This toolkit is geared towards homebuilders and HBA's on effective storm water and ersosion control techniques. With increased consumer demand for "green building", it can begin with lot development. The educational materials within the toolkit are aimed at assisting the home builder comply with storm water regulations and assisting HBA's in keeping excessive regulations from being enacted which can drive up the costs of affordable housing. On June 5, 2008, Chuck Miller with Miller Custom Homes held a "flying debris" demonstration at his 2008 Homearama Green Home "The Mothership". The demonstration simulated flying debris that is common during tornados and hurricanes and how typical construction methods compared to Poly Steel Concrete construction withstand such debris.
