Charity Golf Tournament a Swinging Success
Team Sinnen-Green & Associates won the first-place, first-flight honors with a score of 53 at Tidewater Builders Association’s annual Building Trades Academy golf tournament on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Sewell’s Point Golf Course in Norfolk. The area’s heat wave broke in just enough time for Tidewater Builders Association’s annual charity golf tournament on June 14, at Sewell’s Point Golf Course in Norfolk.

The event, which raised $20,000, benefits TBA’s Building Trades Academy, which provides training and job placement in the trades and facilities maintenance. Since 1978, about 4,000 economically disadvantaged students graduated from the program and were placed in jobs.

This year’s tournament, chaired by Dennis Graf, included one round of Florida Best Ball and a lot of fun for all involved. The winners were:

First place, first flight:
Sinnen-Green & Associates, with a score of 53
Patrick Cecchini, Bill West, Dave Anderson and Jay Payne

Second place, first flight:
RBH Heating & Plumbing, with a score of 56
Ronnie Hord, Kyle Hord, Gardner Winstead and Tim Wagoner
