SUFFOLK – Charity Manor, built by Graf Construction Co. Inc. and Shadow Oaks, built by Dailey Homes and MAC Inc. took top honors in the people’s choice balloting at Tidewater Builders Association’s recent 2001 Homearama at The Riverfront development in northern Suffolk.

Ballots completed by visitors to the event determined winners from among the 16 showcase homes. The homes were judged in two categories, under $500,000 (Category I) and over $500,000 (Category II). Proceeds from the sale of Charity Manor (Category I winner) go to Boys and Girls Clubs of South Hampton Roads, which has been the beneficiary of the annual TBA Charity House for the past eight years.

Second place winners for favorite house were The Brookfield II, built by Parker Lancaster and Orleans (Cat. I), and The Wilshire Place by Area Builders of Tidewater.

Landscaping honors went to Renaissance Outdoor Contracting Inc. for Charity Manor (Cat. I) and Dreamscape Designers for the Provence. Second place landscaping winners were Wedgwood Garden Center for Maison dans le Parc (Cat. I) and Renaissance Outdoor Contracting Inc. for The Sterling.

Interior design winners were Unique Elegance by Margaret Schoch and furniture from Weekenders, for Pearls of Candace, (Cat. I) and Interior Visions Inc. and Decorum for The Sterling.

Second place went to Goodwin Interiors at Home and Home Elements for Maison dans le Parc (Cat. I), and Kathy Collenberg of Shore Gallery & Designs and Furniture Classics Ltd. for Shadow Oaks.
