Whitehurst is an internationally lauded lifestyles consultant
and award-winning feng shui (pronounced fung-shway) author and
speaker. She brings her brand of wit and wisdom to her public
appearances as she teaches the tenets of what she calls "FUN!"
shui on at 2 and 5 p.m. Saturday and 2 and 4 p.m. Sunday.

An
Appraisal Fair. Back by popular demand are Larry and
Linda Makowski of Express Auctioneers. They'll offer free appraisals
on special treasurers that show guests bring their way between
10 a.m. and 4 p.m., Saturday. After the first item, there
will be a nominal $10 charge.

Learn
about gardening and have some fun with Kathy
Van Mullekom, gardening and home columnist for the Daily
Press, when you play "What Plant is This?" at 3
p.m. Saturday April 16. Kathy is one of several speakers
to address topics of interested to the green thumb at the Garden
Stage.
Kathy will bring along samples of plants from her
garden in York County, give you hints about them and ask you to
name them. You'll also receive free educational handouts about
each plant to take home.
Participants who can name the most plants will be
eligible to win some gardening prizes.
In addition to writing the "Diggin' In"
gardening column in the Good Life section of the Daily Press each
Sunday, Kathy writes about interesting gardeners and their yards.
She's a York County master gardener, former horticulture student
at Christopher Newport University and multi-decade gardener.

- Habitat for Humanity,
in conjunction with Lowe's, will host a booth where children
can construct birdhouses and flower boxes, available for
sale upon completion.
- The Daily Press “Ugliest Room”
contest. Look in The Daily Press for
a chance to win two hours consultation with headliner
Andrew Dan-Jumbo while he is in town.
- Designer Rooms will showcase a living
room by Value City Furniture, a bedroom by Heritage Furniture
and a home office by Habitat for Humanity.
