Come out and play as Fall Homearama returns to The Riverfront at Harbour View

“Come out and play, come out and stay,” is the theme of Tidewater Builders Association’s 2011 Fall Homearama, presented by TowneBank. It’s set for Oct. 15-30 at The Riverfront at Harbour View in northern Suffolk. There, visitors will be able to see not only what’s new and innovative in today’s new homes, but also what resort living is all about.

In 2001, more than 100,000 people flocked to the community to tour the neighborhood’s first phase. This year, visitors will see first-hand how this development has blossomed into a sprawling resort community. Homearama will feature nine fully furnished and fully landscaped homes with innovative home designs offering a variety of architectural styles, from transitional to craftsman-styled homes ranging from 3,200 square feet to more than 3,900 square feet. Prices begin in the mid-$500’s and go up to $750,000.

“Homearama is a fun way to showcase what the housing industry has to offer,” said TBA President Bill Halprin. “There’s never been a better time to buy a home. Interest rates are historically low and the value that buyers can get from a new home today is amazing. They’ll be able to see this when they visit Homearama homes. Homearama also offers a lot of ideas and inspiration for what people can do with their own homes.”

The Riverfront in Harbour View sits along the Nansemond and James rivers and is conveniently located off I-664 near the Monitor Merrimac Bridge Tunnel, 12 minutes from Downtown Norfolk and Newport News. Its residents enjoy year-round amenities, from a championship golf course, clubhouse and The Riverfront Swim Club to a 26-acre Eagle Lake, waterfront parks and a 43-acre lake with walking/jogging paths, to name a few, restaurants and more.
