A one-day training session for builders interested in becoming certified in EarthCraft House building will be held from 8:45 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday, May 22 at Tidewater Builders Association.

Sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Virginia (HBAV), Virginia Sustainable Building Network (VSBN) and Southface Energy Institute, Inc. (a program of the Atlanta HBA), the EarthCraft House program will allow home builders to deliver new homes to the public that assist in protecting the environment and are verified to be energy efficient and durable.

The training session is open to HBAV and TBA members only and satisfies the first requirement for a homebuilder to become a certified EarthCraft house builder. The registration fee is $150.00.
